DRY NEEDLING (DN) (PRICE VARIES PER CONDITION AND BODY PART TREATED) ~ $25 PER TREATMENT
DN is a technique that involves the insertion of fine filament needles into the muscle (soft tissue) as a means to release muscular tension directly at the source. The majority of clinical pain is myofascial (muscle and fascia). Dry needling is used to stop myofascial pain and restore optimum function. DN therapy emphasizes and promotes the healing of tissue, with pain relief as a result or positive “side effect.”
DN is used to treat pain and dysfunction caused by a wide range of musculoskeletal problems. Your therapist will explain the benefits for your condition if they feel DN will be of help in treating you.
DN is not intended to replace other components of the therapy visit but will be combined with a focused massage on body part treated.
CUPPING PER SESSION - Incorporated with massage (PRICE VARIES PER CONDITION AND BODY PART TREATED) ~ $25 PER TREATMENTCupping is a vacuum of negative pressure applied to the body that brings circulation to an area of poor circulation or ischemia, creates healthier skin tone and strength to the tissues, releases blockage of cold stagnated blood and waste from deeper layers that can be a source of pain and increases flexibility and reduces pain by properly aligning fascia and creating balance internally. Cupping can be done in concert with other massage therapies, dry needling or alone.
