Massage

Massage is considered to be among the oldest of all medicinal treatments used. It is an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs and has proven to be a benefit to acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Benefits are many!

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a highly effective form of therapy for the treatment of a multitude of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.
Dry needling works in both acute and chronic situations. Simple muscle tightness, strains and sprains, an overworked body needing recovery, muscle activation, swelling reduction and pain modulation are all clinical examples for the use of dry needling. Today dry needling is utilized by many for the relief of pain and dysfunction within the musculoskeletal system.

How is Dry Needling different than acupuncture?
Dry needling has been developed on a foundation of the general principles of Western medical science while traditional Chinese acupuncture developed about 3,000 years ago as an empirical clinical procedure. There is of course overlap between the two(1).

Cupping

Cupping is an ancient form of medicine using special cups on the skin to create a suction. Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This therapy relieves muscle tension, which improves overall blood flow and promotes cell repair. Cupping is used for many purposes today including: pain, inflammation, muscle & joint restrictions, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep tissue massage.
